ABOUT THE
HOLT BAND BOOSTERS
The Holt Band Boosters consist parents of students and community members who volunteer their time to make our band program better, year after year.

We provide financial support for needs as determined by the Director such as partial scholarships to students unable to pay the entire band camp fee.

We maintain and distribute marching band uniforms and wind ensemble attire

We provide volunteers to assist with football games, parades, and other events.

We act as another communication link between the Director and band families.
Our ability to provide financial support to the Director is the result of a number of fundraising activities. Probably the best known is our annual Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction held every March. We also sell wreaths during the start of the Holiday Season. There are a number of other fundraising activities throughout the year.
We have many volunteer opportunities throughout the year with our most significant need during football season and Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction night. We use Sign Up Genius to confirm our volunteers.
Communication
The Holt Band Boosters has a Facebook page (Holt High School Band Boosters) that is used to help Mr. Emerson communicate with all of you. The Facebook page is a good way to stay informed about band events, have questions answered, and is always updated with Mr. Emerson’s e-mail messages he sends out to band families through the PowerSchool email system and Messenger application.
Booster Meetings
The Holt Band Booster board hopes you will consider being involved as an active supporter. An easy way to get involved is to attend our monthly meetings. We meet at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month in the Holt High School band room from September to May each school year. If you're not available to join the monthly band booster meeting, please consider volunteering when your schedule permits.
